We are a team of Kenyan HR professionals and career coaches who got tired of seeing great candidates fail at the CV stage. So we built the resource we wished existed.
KenyaCVTemplates was founded in 2020 by a group of HR managers and career coaches based in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu. After years of reviewing thousands of CVs from talented Kenyan job seekers, we noticed the same problems repeatedly: poor formatting, missing information, wrong structure — costing qualified people interviews they deserved.
We created this site to give every Kenyan job seeker — whether in Nairobi or Marsabit, fresh out of university or with 20 years of experience — access to the same quality CV resources that previously only existed in expensive career coaching programs.
Everything on this site is free, will always be free, and is written specifically for the Kenyan job market — not recycled American or British templates that don't match what Kenyan employers expect.

"I used the teacher CV template and got shortlisted at 3 private schools within 2 weeks. Before this, I had been applying for months with no response. The TSC section tip was exactly what I was missing."
"As a fresh graduate with no experience, I had no idea how to fill my CV. The fresh graduate template showed me how to use my industrial attachment and final year project as experience. Got my first job at an NGO!"
"The resignation letter was exactly what I needed — professional and legally correct. My HR manager actually complimented how well it was written. Saved me a lot of stress during a difficult time."
"I've been recommending this site to all my students at Moi University. It's the only Kenya-specific resource that actually matches what employers here expect. The CV tips article alone is worth bookmarking."
